A Letter from your Secretary-GeneraL
Dear Advisors and Delegates,
It is my distinct honor to welcome you to the second session of the Northwood High School Model United Nations Conference (NHSMUNC), held on Saturday, April 15th.
The Northwood High MUN program hopes to instill a genuine appreciation for knowledge, discourse, and collaboration in its participants. In orchestrating this conference, we have striven to stay true to these principles. From limiting committee sizes to providing a staff-to-student ratio that ensures utmost productivity and engagement, we hope to aid every delegate, regardless of their background or experience, in reaching their full potential.
After an incredibly successful inaugural conference, we have drawn from delegate feedback and reflected on how to even better meet the desires and needs of delegates moving forward. NHSMUNC II will feature a diverse mixture of committees, ranging from the US Senate to the Iranian Revolution to the Salem Witch Trials. We hope that all delegates will find a topic and committee format they are truly passionate about and which they will enjoy researching and debating. Additional information regarding our conference programming can be found on this website; if you have any questions or comments, please reach out to us at NHSMUNC@gmail.com.
On behalf of the NHSMUNC II Secretariat and the NHS community, I sincerely thank you for your continued support of our meeting, program, and educational mission. I hope to see you at NHSMUNC II!
Sincerely, Mia Lee
NHSMUNC II Secretary-General
